Newborn Baby Clothing Must-Haves!

It’s easy to go overboard when shopping for a baby and making other preparations for the arrival of your new bundle of joy (especially if you’re a first-time parent!). Therefore, I decided to write down a list of the essentials that we found most helpful when our daughter Ruby was a newborn.

These are the “essentials” that we relied on heavily for the first three months of motherhood, and which helped us adjust to our new roles despite our exhaustion.

Since I’ve seen some lists that are fairly exhaustive, I’ve done my best to limit this one to the essentials. Nonetheless, we haven’t forgotten to throw in a few of the “extra” items—the ones you could definitely get by without, but which prove immensely helpful when you’re getting used to life with a small little person.

I hope this list is helpful if you are pregnant and wondering what you will actually need and use. Of course the needs of each baby are unique, but I can confidently say that we got our money’s worth out of each of these purchases.

Bodysuits are also useful to have on hand. This distinctive item is crafted from a rib fabric of winter weight, making it exceptionally cozy and incredibly comfortable to wear. Pick up one of these infant winter bodysuits right away.

3. 100% Cotton Pure Color Ruffle Trim Textured Baby Bib Snap Button Gauze Washable Drool Teething Saliva Towel Bib

Reasons to recommend:

Since infants frequently vomit, an abundance of bibs proved useful. The one exception to my general preference for minimalism is bibs; stock up on as many as you like because accidents happen even when you attempt to be prepared. Our easy-care Bib has an absorbent poodlette backing to halt dribbling in its tracks.

If you’re expecting or searching for a present for a pregnant friend, I hope this was helpful!
